About this exhibit:
Corvallis photographer R.J. Baynum Jr. has been creating photo narratives for many years. Severe flooding in the early 2000’s left him without a home and many irreplaceable belongings were ruined including his cameras and professional equipment. Fortunately, R.J. was able to salvage a number of slides which he kept safe in the homes of friends. The photos in this exhibit date prior to 2004 and show a world of abundance and beauty where human presence is limited yet keenly felt.
Bio narrative:
I wandered to my Beloved, Corvallis from Wilmington, Delaware many years ago. These photos are from my Portfolio which I kept safe after 3 floods and bad mistakes during 30 years of traveling and living in and around… this Country. I am a retired Physically Disabled Army Vet living on SSDI in recovery who plays Blues Harmonica passionately while hanging with my friends at Blues Jams. I also take Nature and Fine Art Photographs. I am active in charity and community events and volunteer as a Blues Rock DJ at KORC 105.9 FM and I am also an active Homeless Advocate.
