Dancing With IV
Kaitlyn Wittig Mengüç is a performance artist working at the intersection of the arts, health, and cultural equity. In Dancing With IV, Wittig Mengüç explores the complexity of emotions experienced over the slow passing of time in a hospital room. Drawing on hallucinations she experienced while undergoing chemotherapy, Wittig Mengüç seeks to articulate the humor and pain of modern medicine and living with a chronic illness. Dancing with IV will include a performance, The Methotrexate Ballet.
