Patrick Collier works in a variety of media, often incorporating writing and marks suggestive of text into his visual art. Collier states, “A sentence in its expressiveness is not all that much different than a horizon in its expansiveness.” Most recently, he has explored this theme in his photographic work. For Artworks, a CEI Project, Collier will be presenting "Land Poem," which is a reprise of his 2014 exhibit at The Suburban in Oak Park, IL.
Collier lives with his wife outside of Stayton, OR. He also writes art criticism for Oregon ArtsWatch.
