Mutant Pop Records was founded by Crescent Valley HS grad Tim Davenport, aka T. Chandler. Between 1994 and 2008 the Corvallis, Oregon label released full length albums, Cassettes, 7” vinyl EP’s, CD’s and CD-R Discs. Mutant Pop Records sold music wholesale to record stores and direct to customers via mail order.

Over the years Tim and various band members created a variety of promotional arcana including zines, posters, illustrated discographies, newsletters and much more. All items were very carefully fashioned and entertain an early punk esthetic. The design of much of this work is interrelated and carefully curated to appear as a whole, as Tim explains “we set out to create a collectible series, featuring a uniform design”. Much of this material can be viewed on Mutant Pop’s website.

Thanks Tim for allowing us into your archives and for taking the initiative to create a full-fledged business dedicated to supporting, creating, curating and caring for the music and musicians you so ardently favored.
